DMCA Takedown Policy

If you are the rights holder of a video and want its transcript removed, email dmca@copyyoutubetranscript.com with the following:

  1. The full URL of the transcript page on copyyoutubetranscript.com.
  2. The original YouTube URL of the video.
  3. Proof of ownership — e.g. confirmation that the email is associated with the YouTube channel, or a verifiable statement from the rights holder or an authorized representative.
  4. Your name, contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.

We process verified takedown requests within 48 hours. Once removed, the transcript will not be re-cached.

Submitting a knowingly false takedown notice may result in legal liability under the DMCA.
