[00:00] because we're not getting out of this. [00:03] This thing's not going to go this [00:04] thing's not going our way. And you know [00:07] that you can feel it. It's it's a you [00:10] can feel that it's not going our way. [00:12] You can feel that it's not working. You [00:14] can feel that Trump wants out of it. [00:18] You can feel it. This is not This is not [00:22] what he does. He's not a real fighter. [00:25] He's like a talker. He's a casino [00:28] kingpin. He's a reality star and if you [00:32] like reality stars I'm selling actually [00:34] pretty well there at the Wilturn [00:36] Theater. But that's what he does. This [00:40] is not Patton. [00:42] He's not a general. He's a reality star. [00:45] He's a talker. He's very [00:48] comfortable in that game. Late night [00:51] firing off tweets at Elizabeth Warren. [00:53] That's his game. [00:55] Talking with Ma and Joe. Morning [00:59] Joe. He's comfortable doing that all day [01:02] long. No, a rally. Forget it. Standing [01:06] there for three hours talking [01:08] extemporaneously off the cuff. He's all [01:11] in and that's what he does. [01:15] This is not where he shines and he feels [01:18] uncomfortable. You can tell he's not [01:20] happy about this because this is not [01:22] what he does. This is also further [01:24] reason you can feel that he was really [01:26] pushed into this. he felt like he he had [01:29] to do it for whatever reason. Um but [01:32] there's no way that he wanted to do this [01:35] because this is not where he lives. This [01:38] is not what he's good at. It's not what [01:41] he's good at. Trump's the guy who was [01:42] like walked around a military base was [01:44] like or I I believe Walter Reed or was [01:46] an army hospital and he was basically [01:47] like, "Yeah, why do they do this?" Like [01:49] because he doesn't get it. He's like, [01:51] "Why would you go sacrifice for the [01:53] country?" He's like, "Don't you want to [01:54] be rich and get pussy?" Like he didn't [01:56] get it. [01:57] He doesn't get it. Like that's who he [02:00] is. So he's this is not a place where he [02:05] feels comfortable. This is not what he [02:07] does. So the idea that he wanted to do [02:09] this, I think he was sold on it. [02:13] He was sold on it, but he didn't know [02:15] what it was cuz he'd never done it. [02:18] Everything was like kidnapping Maduro or [02:21] uh you know, we're going to kill [02:22] Solommani, this Iranian general. We're [02:24] in light touch. Boom. I I destroyed [02:26] ISIS. Whatever. Did he? The one of them [02:28] is running Syria. It doesn't matter. [02:30] It's a light touch. No one cares. It's [02:33] akin to reality TV [02:36] because that's what he's the master of. [02:38] He's the master of creating [02:42] um a reality that's true enough. That's [02:46] what reality TV does. If you watch it, [02:49] you know it's not real, but it's real [02:53] enough. Yes, they're actually on [02:55] the Real Housewife show. Are they put in [02:59] these situations and plied with alcohol? [03:01] That is also true. Are these things [03:04] arranged to make them more entertaining? [03:06] Of course, you suspend disbelief. But [03:09] it's true enough. [03:13] The divorces are real. People don't like [03:16] each other. You know, these things are [03:20] true enough. And Trump lived in that [03:21] world for a very long time. So [03:23] basically, he's a master at creating a [03:25] reality that has elements of truth. [03:29] But the things that are glaringly [03:31] untrue, you don't care because it's [03:34] entertaining. [03:35] Because it's entertaining. So it doesn't [03:38] matter the components of the things that [03:41] are provably untrue, like indisputably [03:45] lies. He doesn't care. And neither do [03:48] you cuz you're laughing. You're smiling. [03:51] I can't believe he said that. It's [03:53] entertaining. This is not a good show. [03:58] That's the biggest problem here for DT. [04:02] This is not a good show. And he knows [04:04] it. He knows this is not a good show. [04:07] Trump is well aware of why he is the [04:12] president. He knows this country better [04:14] than most people, maybe anyone. [04:18] And it's not a nice thing. It's the line [04:20] from the end of Succession when Brian [04:22] Cox looks at Jeremy Strong and goes, [04:24] "They're having dinner and he goes, "I [04:26] know things, not nice things, and that's [04:28] why I turn a buck." I know things, not [04:32] nice things, and that's why I turn a [04:35] buck. Trump knows [04:38] that when Zalinsky was in the Oval [04:40] Office and Vance and Trump were berating [04:43] him, that was great TV. [04:46] Trump knows when he said to Hillary, [04:48] "Because you'd be in jail." That's great [04:51] TV. [04:53] This is the opposite of great TV. [04:58] It isn't exciting. [05:01] It's not nearly [05:04] as engaging [05:06] as it needs to be. So, what you have is [05:11] a bunch of people that are checking out, [05:14] which he doesn't like. [05:16] They're tuning out. They're turning it [05:18] off. And so when they turn it off, you [05:22] got to remember they go out into the [05:24] world, the gas prices are high, the food [05:28] prices are high. Why is this [05:30] war, [05:32] but they're not watching his show [05:33] anymore. So he cannot tell them exactly [05:36] why things are the way they are because [05:40] people are turning this off. They [05:43] don't understand why it happened. It's [05:45] embarrassing. Our military bases have [05:48] been blown to smitherines. It's [05:49] embarrassing. The limits of our military [05:52] power have been exposed. It's embarrass [05:54] People don't want to watch that show. [05:56] That's not a feel-good show. [05:59] That's a terribly [06:01] embarrassing and depressing show. So, [06:05] people go, "I'm out." And and Trump [06:08] knows that. So, so he's doing these [06:11] little things to try to get them back [06:12] in. There's aliens now. [06:14] Are you are you back watching? Can you [06:17] come and watch again? There's aliens and [06:20] they're under the water. Or even this, [06:22] we're moving dark eagle hypersonic [06:26] missiles towards our It's the final [06:28] blow. He keeps using words like that, [06:30] the final blow. But there is no final [06:33] blow. [06:36] So eventually people just turn it off. [06:39] It's like a soap opera. You never see [06:42] the last episode of a soap opera. You [06:44] turn it off. You get sick of it. You [06:47] grow up. You get a job. You get a [06:49] boyfriend. Whatever. [06:52] What this has become for Trump [06:55] is is a a a total unending [06:59] nightmare. And he's in this weird [07:02] stalemate where no one's really doing [07:04] anything. And he keeps like threatening. [07:06] Now hopefully he just keeps threatening [07:08] and we never go back in there. Hopefully [07:10] nothing even happens. Hopefully the [07:12] trade opens up, things normalize, [07:15] everybody apologizes, whatever. Seems [07:18] unlikely, but that's kind of what needs [07:21] to happen. And he just keeps tweeting [07:22] final blow. You know, TRUTH SOCIAL LIKE [07:24] FINAL BLOW. IT'S THE FINAL BLOW is [07:26] coming. This is the first time that I [07:31] have watched Trump where it feels [07:35] boring. [07:37] And when I say that, I don't mean to [07:39] take away from the horrific loss of [07:41] life. By the way, I'm not taking away [07:44] from that. None of that's boring. [07:46] Obviously, it's a terrible tragedy. [07:49] Trump himself seems [07:52] to be [07:54] over it. He doesn't want to do this [07:57] anymore. He's he's he's [08:00] stuck in a web. [08:03] If we pull out now, [08:06] it's a an admission to the world that [08:09] America's military might has, I believe, [08:11] is, you know, a lot of people look at [08:13] that and say it's been greatly [08:14] overstated [08:16] and that we're we're not going to make [08:18] commitments to our allies. We're not [08:20] going to make commitments to the the [08:22] things we say are important, right? So, [08:24] he doesn't feel like he can do that. [08:28] But also, this final blow, a world war, [08:33] dropping a nuke, [08:35] all of this [08:37] isn't possible. The generals have told [08:41] him, "We can't do the things you want to [08:43] do." Now, Trump, no one told him this at [08:46] the Apprentice. [08:49] Everyone was pretty much like, "Yeah, [08:50] what do you want to do?" Yeah, we can do [08:52] that. We'll find a way to do that. We'll [08:53] find a version of that that will be [08:56] okay. It'll be true enough. It'll be [08:59] true enough. And that can't happen here. [09:04] So, they have to start with the aliens. [09:07] They have to start with the aliens. [09:10] There's nothing they can really do now. [09:13] He's stuck. And it sucks. [09:16] And And more than that, [09:19] he knows he's losing eyeballs. They're [09:22] leaving him. They're going elsewhere. [09:26] They don't care. [09:28] They've given up.
