[00:00] This morning a trove of images showing [00:02] decades of unidentified objects is [00:04] sparking curiosity among starry-eyed [00:07] enthusiasts. The Pentagon releasing [00:09] photos, videos, and reports of some 400 [00:12] unresolved UFO sightings from the past [00:15] 80 years, including this infrared video [00:18] from 2013 taken somewhere in the Middle [00:20] East by the US military. It appears to [00:23] show a star-shaped object flying [00:25] erratically and leaving a trail behind. [00:28] And in this audio from 1965, astronaut [00:31] Frank Borman can be heard documenting an [00:34] unidentified object while aboard Gemini [00:36] 7. [00:41] NASA transcripts from 4 years later are [00:43] also part of this release. Buzz Aldrin [00:46] telling the government he saw a possible [00:48] laser in space. And these images taken [00:51] from the Apollo 17 mission in 1972 [00:55] show strange lights observed in space [00:57] from the moon. Every Apollo mission has [00:59] reported similar lights. There these [01:02] really cool snapshots of what it's like [01:04] to be an astronaut exploring new things [01:07] for the first time. And then to see [01:08] things that [01:09] they at first couldn't explain. The [01:11] Pentagon says this is the first of what [01:13] will be several declassified document [01:16] dumps about the unidentified object [01:18] sightings at the direction of President [01:20] Trump. The president now touts complete [01:22] and maximum transparency writing it's up [01:25] to the public to decide for themselves [01:27] what the hell is going on. These files [01:30] released by the Pentagon do not give any [01:32] solid evidence for life beyond Earth or [01:33] alien life in general. But that doesn't [01:35] mean we aren't continuing the [01:38] investigation and the search for life. [01:41] Now, while this this release gives a new [01:43] way for people to view these files, a [01:44] large portion of the incidents [01:45] themselves have been publicly available [01:48] and many were taken from military bases [01:50] which tend to have a higher level of [01:51] surveillance. So, with no certainty with [01:54] the search and the speculation [01:56] continues. [01:56] >> Okay, my [01:58] is piqued. Thank you very much. We [02:00] appreciate it.
